Opposite the conference hotel is a Gloria Jeans which offers coffee, tea and breakfast pastries. Behind it is a small store where you can purchase fruit, cereals, milk and snacks. Southern Cross station has a number of small take-away type eateries. Walking away from the station, on Collins Street there is a variety of cuisines at cheap prices.
